updated by RBI is that now they have made a new currency note for the
country. The new note will be for the value of 2000 i.e. It will be a
Rs. 2000 note. RBI also mentioned that they are made out all the
necessary preparation to launch this note in the country.
The new Rs.
2000 note will be introduced in the country by next year i.e. 2017. As
per the recent information the note will be officially introduced in the
month of February 2017. The note will be circulated in the country
under the full supervision of government of India and Prime Minister of
India, Mr. Narendra Modi.

The notes has already been printed in
currency printing press in Mysore, India. The mentioned printing press
is a unit of SPMCIL. This word is fully completed as the Security
Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited. This organization is
fully owned by the government of India and is formed with a purpose for
the production of bank notes, coins, postage stamps, non – judicial
stamps, and some other government related documents of India.
This
organization was set up in the year 2006 and by now it contains 9 units,
4 mints and one paper mill. The Currency Note Press (CNP) is mainly
located in two places in India i.e. Nashik, Maharashtra and Mysore,
Karnataka. Over 40 % of Indian Currency Notes are printed in both these
CNP ’s. Whereas the coins of Indian Currency are mostly minted in the
mints of Mumbai, Kolkata, Noida and Hyderabad.

Process Exchange Old Note 500, 1000 with New Note
- You have to Visit the Bank Near to you Like SBI, OBC, PNB, HDFC, ICICI, Canera Bank, State bank of Patiala, Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, Andhra Bank, Kangra Bank, Cooperative Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Karur Vasaya Bank, Central Bank, Reserve Bank of India and all other bank located in India.
- Then You have second Options that if live in village and you have a Post office then you go there and Exchange Money your Old 500 and 1000 Rupees with New One.
- You no need to pay any extra Changer for Exchange.
- When you enter Into the bank you just ask in the bank about the Money exchange counter.
- Then you just need to Ask for money exchange and Now till 25th of November you just exchange only 4000 rupees per days.
- For this You need to take carry with your Aadhar Card or Voter card, or pan card, or Ration Card, or any other authorized Identity prof for exchange counter.
As per the records 85% of Indian
currency is in the form of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000, now will the

For Bank Exchange – Now form Direct Bank Exchange you only eligible for 4000 Rupees in a One days.
Form 10th November to 24th of November – Only Exchange 4000 Rupees.
After 25th of November – extended for 4000 to 6000 or 7000.
ATM Closed – 9th and 10th November.
After 30th December – You can exchange Notes only in RBI Office with One Forms fill process.
For ATM – By ATM you can only Take only 2000 Rupees in one day. (This limit will be extend)
Time for Exchange Money – 10th November 2016 to 31st of December 2016 (Extended till 31st of March 2016)
Note Eligible till 11th November Only In – Hospitals, Medical shops, Bus Tickets, Railways Booking, Airline Booking.
For Travel to Other country or Tourists – You can exchange only 5000 Rupees in One day.
